Comments

What are comments?

Comments are a single text description that can be added to any task in an operation. All members of the operation can see and modify the comment, but the last person that adds or modifies it will show up as the one that added it.

Where are they?

Comments can be found in many places throughout Apfell. On almost any page where you see a task and output (aside from the search page), you'll be able to see task comments. These comments can be added or modified by clicking the green chat bubble icon:

Comments can be removed by either clicking the red trash icon or editing the comment to be a blank string "".

Searching Comments

Comments are a nice way to highlight certain tasks and output as important for later use, but just like everything else, they can easily get lost in an operation. To help with this, there's a comment specific search page found at "Operational Views" -> "Comments" from the top navigation bar.

These comments can be sorted by operator or by callback and searched for their contents.

From here, clicking the task number will take you to a page of just that task, clicking the dropdown arrow will display the output for that task, and clicking the red callback number will take you to the Split Callbacks page to view that whole callback in its own page.
